Don't blame it on the Cookie Monster

We received a call from none-other than my cousin, James - who lives in Florida. He had an idea that he wanted to start a driveway safe dumpster rental business in the county where he lives. James is no stranger to being an entrepreneur.

He wanted us to get his business to have a look.

James is married and has three kids and so encompassing the idea of having his children be apart of the logo, would mean the world to him. Of course, knowing him since birth and seeing his kids grow up, I understood the assignment.

With the help of Granite & Ashe's Graphic Designer (and my fiancé ❤️), we started trying to make his vision into something tangible.

At Granite & Ashe, we know its all about the customer - we just want to help make their business or whatever they're setting out to do, easy on them. We took the time to brainstorm with James.

James has a very precise taste, but is very particular about how he wants to look to his customers. Don't we all!

This was mostly to resemble the beginning of what he envisioned. The three "trash pandas"...or his kids.

James loves the rustic, hard metal, look of designs.

When you look at current logo designs, you only see simplicity. That's what is so eye catching to the top brands you use or see every day.

Pic. 5: Color Scheme

It's always important to pick colors to go along with your logo. It's what helps define...you!

With a good idea of what James wanted, we came up with:

When we sent this design to James and his wife, Heidi, they immediately said YES! Taking time to sit down and discuss the views of your business may seem like a hassle with larger design firms, that may not really care about YOUR look - because it's all about you and your business, we're just here to help!
